I love the layout of the 911 CDC. With the consoles in the center, you don't trip over your partner when getting up or sitting down. The driver goes left, the passenger goes right. Simple. The center consoles allow you room to fight a fish all of the way around the boat without having to reach over the consoles. The center consoles also provide a drier ride as you are further from the gunwales, but you will still get wet in big waves and high wind. The seating position is higher than in standard bass boat layouts, allowing the driver better visibility.
The fit and finish are not quite what you would get from a more expensive boat like a Ranger. It is getting better over the years, but it isn't quite there. My boat is a 2004 model. The livewells are cable controlled. The levers can be a bit stubborn to move. The newer models have the touch-pads, making the switch from fill to pump-out much easier.
