Upgraded to lowrance hd-7, stock unit on bow.
I like the Aluminum hull for durability, which is necessary for how and where I fish. I like the Mercury 65hp efi engine which gets me to about 37mph.3 hours of fishing is about 1 gallon of gas. Also the increaced size is fun, my previous boat was a pro team 165.
The carpet is poor...looks great initially , but is thick and poorly glued. Hooks keep getting stuck. Also there are several poorly adhered areas or poor cutting that show up after time...It got dirty quick too.
The new configuration allows for a center beam rod locker that can accomadate up to 7' rods..the extra tubes only accomodate baitcasters or smaller spinning reel outfits, I ended up putting my rods back up on the deck and using the rod locker for gear.
It didn't come with a recessed foot pedal, so I added it.
It didn't come with a bimini top, so I added it....1 month to do
The tire that came on it had sidewall damage, it hasn't been replaced yet ..2 months now and counting
The live well wasn't user friendly in that it needed to be primed, and it was self evident on how.
the speedometer was assembled correctly the first time, they fixed that.
