It was cheap, it is comfortable to fish from as long as its not rough.
It is not too big, it pulls easy behind my truck (barely know its there)
I don't have to stress out about the gel-coat or scratches.
It get good gas mileage on the water.
I know everything about it cause I built it from an empty hull.
It took a good amount of work to modify.
Sometimes stuff breaks cause everything was put together from used parts.
It can be unstable in heavy chop because of high center of gravity.
It has a limited amount of room, you have to crawl around the center console.
Had I to do it over again, I would have modified a 16' boat. But I would modify a boat again.
