Reel Question
I had someone come in the store yesterday and he had a wierd request. He asked for an 11.1.1 spinning reel. Said he used to own an Okuma one and wanted another one. I went to thier website and they didn't have one. My question lol, has anyone ever heard of this???? Is there any out there and if so who makes an 11.1.1 reel where I can try and meet this customers request lol. Thanks guys

haha well I've been asking people when they come in the store if they have ever heard of it and I have had another person say he has heard of an 11 to 1 but he didn't remember who made it lol. Oh well, just try to make people happy if you can and if you can't, at least I tried lol.

The MGX has the same IPT (Inches Per Turn of the crank handle) as a 7:1 stx
The only spinning reel I can picture that would even come close to a ratio like that would a little micro UL but even then... IPT is the most meaningful spec

You sure he didn't mean an 11+1 bearing reel? Mitchell and Diawa (Maybe some others) makes those in their line up.
Send a note to Okuma, they are pretty quick with responses.
