Pure Fishing Accepts Abu Garcia Reel Trades
I'm not affiliated with Pure Fishing Inc but just want you to know how to save 45% off retail on new Abu Garcia Reels. Pure Fishing accepts 45% off if you trade in an old Abu Garcia reel. I had some old 521's that I wanted repaired and was told about this deal 2 years ago. I've traded 6 out so far for different models....Revo's, C-4's, & C-3. You box up your old reel & send it in.
For those that say Revo's or any Abu reel won't cast, it may help to remove some of the 2 lbs of grease that the factory slaps inside them. I bought a bottle of synthetic oil instead of using the little plastic bottle supplied by the factory. Did it make a difference??? You don't have to trade for Revo's....ANY Abu reel can be purchased with a trade in. I even got 2 round C-4 models & 1 C-3.... Why they don't outwardly advertise this is beyond me, but it's a helluva deal if you're searching for Abu Garcia brands whether baitcasters or spinning reels. Here's the phone number 877.777.3850 ask for reel repair ext 8120 |

Yes they still do it. they have always done it. However, it was my understanding that it was offered for reels that they couldn't repair. Say you call them about fixing an old reel and they don't have parts for it anymore, thats when they tell you about the trade. I'm not sure if it goes for reels that they have all the parts in stock to fix, but it might if you call and ask.
