Default winter weapons

when fising in winter time here in nc i use 3 differant rods most of the time. the flipping stick, the crankin stick, and a spinning rod..

as i have been doin land slide business with a spefic techique. i am using the extra long handled spinning rod. yes this is an older pic before the daiwa was put on that rod..i normally pack a shakey head rod btw..

hidden behind the lure wraps are a free style jig and a bandit 700..

the color that catches them for me..

Zook, I had a friend pick me up 2 of them , He made a trip to BPS today.I got the 1/2 oz. size. Aren't you supposed to tie them on the other way ? The #6 swedish pimple produced some nice fish for me this morning, this was one of the better days I have had this winter so far.I can't wait until I try this new jig out, they are a bit more expensive than a swedish pimple, but not much more. It has been a good winter here so far. Here is a swedish pimple, I am surprised not many people outside of my area uses them, they work any time of year.
