What are the cables for ? I have seen suringe looking cable gease applicatotrs. there should be gease fittings on them at the helm and or transom. but depending on the age and length you might be more at ease replaceing them I have done this in the past for right around 100 dollars .

Ok here's the long and short of lubing cables. If they need lubing because of age its TIME TO REPLACE No to if ands or butts about it. They come form the factory lubed and they are basically a sealed unit to an extent. They make cable lube nuts and other gadgets but again if they need lube they are starting to wear. Do you wanna take a chance with the only thing that holds dat mota where it needs to be. I had a bad experience last year because I didnt inspect my cable as closely as I needed to. 55mph and SHE FROZE! After cleaning my britches I REPLACED. Only about 100-150 depedning on what model you have.
