any of you guys use these?
i use the 5/0 pretty much for my horny toads, they work great, they are real strong as well as useful. a bit of a heavier hook the wire is a bt thick. for pretty much anything else tho i use 3/0 EWG gammys but i thought i should let you guys who use toads know about these. also great for tiki sticks as well.

I still use them ocassionaly, as you mentioned, they are good on senko's/tiki sticks. They are really good on small worms for finese fishing. I am using 2 & 3 ought xwide gammies for Trigs currently. One nice thing I have noticed about them is they seem to hold a good sharp point a long time.

You have to try the skip gap hooks. You won't need the toad hooks or glue. They hold a bait like it was a Mann's hard nose but better. I have used the Texposer and a lot of others for toads, etc. But I think the hook companies will scramble to make this style of hook once everyone starts talking about them. I think they will be the chatterbait of hooks.

Yes I use them exclusively on Flukes, a 5/0. They are exactly what they are called a "TEXPOSER" hook. The design is great for Texposing any plastic, and yes they are a thicker gauge wire, and pretty strong. Not near as strong as a Superline hook, but better than average.

with the bigger diameter wire, does it take more "oommph' to set the hook?

Not at all JB, they do have an extremely sharp point, there is no real down side to them, but you must keep them dry or they will show rust faster than other brands.

Excellent point bysb They do have a tendancy to rust quicker. I concur with the sharp point, they really are great for getting my hooksets with flukes. I of course usually rig them opposite of how everyone else does , and just skin the hook in the top of the back.
