He sure is and not that many people have the good mold like me and Jim(ghost baits) you ca go 2 his site and email him I know he is busy! It is illegal to sell the beaver molds so he is not allowed to sell them on his site.

What is going to happen when you get your butts hauled in to court for reproducing a bait that has a patent pending on them ?The word is Depending on how much you have been selling it may very well happen.By the way the Riverside catches fish, they are just too soft so you get a one bite chance per bait. I bet bob has a CNC mill and does those, probably at work lol
Speaking of patents, what do you think is going on in china an india? the USA takes their industry over there and soon the locals catch on to how we make stuff..its a multi billion dollar lose of the americans...
as for bob, all he has to do is prove is mix of plastic is dif from the national brand, and he can copy the exact style of mold that he wants, I am sure if you compared his mold to the others, there is some minute dif.

One of the owners of Reaction Innovations has stated on the tv show, Loudmouth Bass, that he's not pursuing a patent on the Sweet Beaver. Too costly and it takes too much time.

Bob's mold is one piece, meaning that it produces a flat sided lure. Sweet Beaver lures are textured and rounded on all sides due to injection molds. As far as Bob not being able to sell that particular mold, he sells Â* molds that make exact Senko copies and other non-patented lure designs.

The Riverside paddletail grub is only similar in the thin oversized paddle; Â*the body is round, not flattened, and the action is very different. The plastic is harder than the Sweet Beaver's and the body has no flex.

You want the unique action of the Beaver, you buy the Beaver. Knockoffs made from Bob's mold's are slightly different, but work as well and are the finest craw-action simulators I've ever seen! Color is not important and if you stick to greens, pumpkin, chartreuse/flake or smoke/pearl/flake, you've covered all bases.
