Default New fishing partner

All I caught this morning were a bunch of "bama-sized" bass, so I don't have any fish photos to share. I did get these shots, which I thought were kind of cool, on one of my favorite shorelines to fish.

Nice to capture those moments.
I often get the chance at deer to and from the lake, always thought this was a rare moment.

Great pic, Mule! We got to witness that a couple years ago, but we didn't have a camera with us at the time. We have deer all over the place near our cabin, but I rarely see them from the boat like I did this morning. It's not uncommon at all for us to see 10-15 of them when one of us is out on our early morning dog walk.

Nothin wrong with bama bass, they keep me busy between the big ones, haha.

Cool pics though. I have a crazy story about deer on the lake, but I'll save it for another day.

I like taking the camera with me too. I've only been on the water three times this year and last time I spent most of my time watching this fisherman, who was doing pretty well for himself:

I haven't seen any deer like that though, I'll just have to keep going.

wally, it is a Nikon D7000. For now I just have a consumer 70-300mm zoom but hopefully will be upgrading soon. I'm pretty careful and keep it strapped to me in the boat.
