Default May find some great explanations on the 'whys' of some popular tackle

I am not pushing product or site...just info I found pretty through and really explains the 'why things work' in a certain matter.
Some stuff on stratagies and tactics at the lower end of list.
Loomis NRX is explained by the Loomis folks in front of a ST. Croix sign.

Anyone can probably find something new or a refresher.
Anyways if it's going to be 30 degrees in the morning tommorrow where your at like good old Wisconsin you may find some down time on your hands. This may help fill it.
Here's a funny. I went to the site to research SM river fishing in the fall.
Only two videos that weren't working! Just like a day fishing with Joe....out of order.

It's 50 degrees right now....25 mph CONSTANT NW wind, gusts more.
30 degrees, nowind. 50 degrees with a slight breeze (big breeze )
Wow kind of a tossup....?

Hey great question.
If you had a choice. Which would you prefer to fish?
1) 50-55 degree day partly cloudy turning mostly clear later.
Big wind, 20 constant with large gusts from the north.
2) 30 degree day, same sky cover, 5-10 mile southern breeze

As I'm typing this the wind now shifted to direct north and the temp dropped to 41. Oh well, thermos of hot chocolate and a wind break and I think I'm still in business.

Have a great day ALL!

For me neither. I'll just stay home and badger my "friends" on BF.com and a couple other foums that I occasionally visit. Just to keep my fingers in the pot.............. stir, stir, stirring away.

I'm with Bruce on this one. I'm getting a few chores around the house done to make up for the better days I'm out on the water.

Neither. Used to fish for trout and walleye in that kind of weather. Have had enough.

I must be very mentally challenged....I'd fish both and did.
The wind is the worst though. Especially if the temps down too.

It was too windy to mow the field.
