Default Power Pole

Does anyone have a power pole anchoring system on their bass boat? Any thoughts

Assume your talking about the big ugly contraption that mounts on the transom. For my type of fishing it would be a nuisance not to mention the added weight factor. Looks like something to just get tangled up in.

Haven't seen one on a bass boat. Have been on a few bay boats, flat boats and others. Would love to be the guy who invented that. I like them, work really well. Did not get in my way at all. Yes they are $$$$$, but Im considering one if I ever get a new boat.

I talked with Preston Clark and Shaw Grigsby a while back. They both love it. if you drifting or on the trolling motor and come across a spot that looks like it holds fish, or see a dropoff on your fish finder, just use the power pole, when you're ready to move on lift up. no need to spook the fish with a splash from the anchor.

The powerpole is a great idea. I did see a bass boat that looked to be promoting it at a ramp down in Florida. The thing makes the most sense for fishing shallow places, I don't know how deep it can go but I can't imagine its all that deep.
