Carolina Lunker Sauce

I use carolina lunker sauce as well....crawfish. I also really like smelly jelly in craw(I call it stinky pinky). I put it on all plastics and jigs!

Don't get the smelly jelly on your fingers and eat a sandwich, not good, not good.

I use several different types of scents. When I load my soft binder with worms I'll spray Bang crawfish scent inside the ziplok bags that are attached to the binder. After I rig my hook with a worm I like to use the Smelly Jelly. I also use the smelly jelly on jigs and crankbaits too.

peanut butter and smelly jelly sandwiches mmmmmm yummy.

the way I see it, scents are simply to add flavor so the bass will hold onto it for a fraction of a second before spitting it out. I don't think a bass will notice hte difference between the generic stuff they sell at walmart, to the great scent of pure anise oil, to the most expensive scents available. but if you have a particular scent that gives you confidence..........well confidence is all you really need to catch a fish.

Well put Rodman, because all you want is the fish to hold on to the lure just a few seconds longer to be able to set the hook. Oh, confidence doesn't hurt either.

I have been using the MEGASTRIKE exclusively. I like the tube design and the no mess. It is also not based on a smell it's based on the protiens and amino acids fish prey upon. I have talked alot to the owner Bobby Uhrig and I believe in his products. We trialed the MegaStrike in tournament here in MI. We were using Jig worms and caught a limit in around an hour. We then took the same baits without Megastrike and fished the same area. Not a bite. Re-applied and the bite started all over again. We boated a bunch of good keepers and walked away with 1st and big bass.
Chech it out and give it a try.

I like hawg sauce. I use the spray on all of my baits. I usually shot it inside the bag before I use my lure and then before it goes in the water.

One of my favorite commercially available scents is Jack's Juice in Garlic. When not available Bang is Great. Mainly use the scent to get the fish to hold onto it a bit longer and also to ward off the smells of a fisherman like gas and oil etc.
