Cass that is sharp.

I had my dream car at one time 69 Chevelle automatic in the floor with a 327. Pearl white with leather interior and original rally wheels. Real sharp, I loved that car. But my bro-in-law changed into pinto one morning and like a dummy I had it fixed and it never was the same.

That's funny WTL, me and the BassinBandit was talking about that the other day pulling a boat with something like that. That would be so cool.

Nice choice man! A guy around here has one, It's either 66 or 67 and it is like midnight green. it looks black unless the sun is shining on it.

I have to say some are cool looking, but the exoctics don't do much for me. I'd get one and sell it buy a corvette. I like the 2005 corvette pace car. http://img.wallpaperstock.net:81/cor...8_1024x768.jpg

My fathers best friend owned one but it was maroon. He sold it around 1995 for the same amount that he bought it for back in the 1970's. Yep, around $3000. Was probably worth $20K or more at that time. I was shocked and told him that I would have driven to Texas (where he lived) and driven it home for that price. Now they sell over $40K.

tell me about it. Maybe even more for a '67. before the recession, we had someone offer us 35,000 for our camaro. but we didn't fix it up to sell it right away. We are going to try to sell our Mustang when it's done. But with the commonnessity [word?] of the car, and the recession, we may wait till the economy picks up.

This car was a prototype, the design resembles the camaro's of the late 60's...

mississipiboy.that is a 1970 charger. i had one although NOT with the blower coming outta da hood. mine was a stock ol 318 2 barrel single exhaust automatic tranny. man does that car bring back some memories for me. painted it a bronze/brown mettel flake. had a vynl roof, bucket seats. man i loved that car. got stupid and sold it at an auction for #300.00. yea if i only had a brain back then. but see, i had a 68 vette at the same time. so i sold it. still........it was dumb of me to sell it. wanting to find another one or a 67-69 firebird to restore. just want a rolling chassis. if anyone knows of one of these 2 cars around their area and the folks want to sell it, let me know ok?

jb, hahaha, listen pal. now i HAD 2 vettes, A 68 AND A 72 yr model, NEITHER of those 2 cars would bring in HALF the money the 70 charger would. i would GLADLY let the "other" head do the thinking. hahaha, dad WAS gonna buy a 1967 plymouth hemi sport fury. but mom put an end to that real quick. dad asked her why she didn't like the sport, mom said " i have 4 kids, and that car has bucket seats and no airconditioner". dad said reluctantly ok. then he asked her what she wanted. she looked around the lot and seen this semi come in and on top on the rear of the trailer was a green furyIII. she asked the salesman if it had AC, he said he would check. sure enough, it had AC. she said we'll take it. dad didn't much like it,lol, and after a bit mom said to dad. "at least it ain't a 4 door". hahahahha. turned out to be the best car my folks have EVER owned. it had a 318 motor and gave ol pop's over a half a million miles. see dad ought mom another few cars after "da fury", was starting to look old to mom, lol. she got a 72 dodge polora that was a fine running car, just the electrical system sucked.then she got a 74 satelte sebring that was a great car. after that dad switchted to chevy's. mopar wasn't mopars anymore after around 75. but man i still love em. the old ones anyway. have you seen the new challengers? cool........................

Bama is right that most vette's won't bring half of what a charger or challenger will nowdays, but it's mostly because Chevy was MUCH more populaar than mopar stuff back then. There's simply not as many mopars around. nowdays, with the exception of a few cars, I'd take a new Chevy over a new dodge or chystler anyday.
