Default New to me boat

Bought a boat today so me and my son can fish some when he comes home from school for the summer. I hope I got a good deal its a Alumacraft super hawk 2004 model with a 40hp merc. Im gonna clean it up go through and make sure everything is as it should be. It runs great and everything seems to work but Im sure I will be fixing a few things. I paid 3200 for it, it seemed like a good price considering some of the boats I looked at. Anyway here are some pics.

Thats a great boat to spend quality time with your son and enjoy the sport of fishing. I'd say you got a great deal looking at the condition of the rig. Have fun with it pal.

Looks like you done good! Congrats!

Be sure to always wear a life jacket when running the big engine and if it has a kill switch be sure to use that, too.

Most importantly, have fun!

Very nice boat .. had two just like it. Point of fact I need to share.. They do not jump trees very well. Both of mine split the hull.

Live and learn..

Its a good ride, save some of those old hickory fish for the rest of us.
Stripers should be below the dam now in force.

Nice, all I would ever want out of a boat, a bit jealous, and the motor looks very clean, nearly worth the price alone. Congrats.
