I havent heard from my rep at norcross in a while. Like I mentioned, I got one free because I enrolled to be a beta tester of the product. I can say I got my unit in January and its a fully functional unit. I cant imagine they dont at least have some ready to roll.
I would probably just email them, they are great about returning the email quickly. The measuring device and built in scale etc is just awesome. quick, easy way to measure your fish and not hurt them. Will be GREAT in canada for pike and musky, since they are very fragile fish.

I saw Xtools scale with culling system for less than $90 at Cabela's in the Bargin Cave (Richfield, WI). If you don't find this week let me know and I can make the 30 min. drive for you to pick it up--if it doesn't get sold.

You could call them and put it on hold as well.

Less than 90 is still probably too much.. do you know the exact amount?

Default Boga Grips

Two words, Boga Grips. If you can afford it they are well worth it. My friend got a pair and I landed, weighed, and released his fish with ease. That was my first time using them and I fell in love. They cost around $119.00 at Bass Pro.

The is not a digital one it is a spring loaded outfit. I have never used a cheaper version but I am told there is nothing like the Bogas. Hopefully that helps you with your decision.

those boga grips are nice. but what happens when you are in canada and there is a slot limit the marine products one I have measures them instantly, without even having to touch the gelcoat etc. I love the bogas, but I dont think I will go back to using mine again
