Default Spinning rod

I'm looking for an all around spinning rod to use with a Pfleuger Medalist reel, probably a medium or medium heavy, pretty stiff, one piece, and maybe glass. I can't find any rods that fit my needs. Please post links.

GLoomis or StCroix will fit your needs, spinning rods are limber than baitcasting rods of the same rating, also, StCroix rods are stiffer than GLoomis rods of the same rating.

www.fenwickfishing.com

the only rods youll ever need, PERIOD. My spining rod of choice is a 6ft MH Spinning Rod, they now have a 6ft 10in MH spinner as well 1 piece. HMX series is my favorite, nice actions, fast tapers, lightweight.

All star rods are my favorite spinning rods for bass.

first of all stiff and glass are total contradictions to each other.in my opinion glass rods suck.i don't even crank with them.i use a soft graphite rod and loosen my drag.i almost never loose fish that way even with braid.i would link that rod up with a bps bionic blade or a team all star 6-6 rod.if you really want a great spinning rod you could get an all star platinum series or a bps johnny morris signature series.all of these rods are tops in there price range and the johnny morris is as good as ANY rod made in my opinion.and then spool it with sufix braid!!!

Dodgeguy, I also use the BPS Johnny Morris spinning rods. Of particular significance, I like the weight balancing kit that you can attach at the end. It seems to "lighten" the tip and provide more sensitivity.

i balance all my rods with these.even the bass pro rods.i like them better than the bps balancer.the johnny morris is second to no rod.it just doesn't cost $300 because it doesn't have the lifetime warranty.performance wise there is no better rod.
