I think for the next one we should extend how long you have to enter a fish or maybe do a length only with a biggest and smallest fish and only judge the biggest by weight but just a thought .

Maybe the minimum required length for an entry can be lowered to 12 inches. That way others would have submitted fish. I would have submitted around 30 fish if that was the ruling. BB's email would have been flooded. I have 4 private lakes now that I can fish anytime and pull out 12 inch bass all day long. It is nice but still frustrating not being able to land a big one.

Hey guys, I just wanted to thank Kevin for letting me set this up. If we do this again, there are a few changes to be made, but for the most part (apart from not much participation) I thought for the first Braggin' Tourney, this was a success.
Thanks again Kevin, and everyone who participated. BB

I didnt bother to post an entry, well because I didnt catch anything bigger or smaller than what was posted for my region. I actually did participate (took camera, tape, marker and paper, fishing) Just not much sense in submitting an entry if you know it doesn't top the current leader. Grats to the cat whom caught the hog representing the south.

thanks
Hey BB, thanks for all the effort in running the tourny, and for the kind words from my fellow anglers. I like the regional aspect of this tournament, and have a lot of respect for you Northern guys who catch fish in tough conditions. If any of you are going to be in the Tampa Bay area, drop me a PM, and I'll see if I can put you on some of these phat Florida bass!

Well, I am guessing that my chances in the west go up if no one enters. I only joined the site this month. But I will be in for august. If I am the only entry though, I would prefer to be linked to another region...lol
