Default anyone use G-loomis SJR-782?

I have a few loomis rods and I love them all. Was wondering if anyone has a SJR-782 spinning rod and if so, whats their review.

Got it, even got the CR722, man I love both rods, the SJR is slightly less powerful than it bc counterpart. Even though rated M I think itīs more like a ML rod, casts small offerings with ease but still with enough backbone for good hooksetting, makes shaking baits on shakey heads a pleasure without sacrificing the action of the bait. Great finesse rod.

in your opinion which is the better shakey rod? I've got a Quantum drop shot rod that I have been using, but it don't have enough backbone and the tip is too limber. Which of the two loomis rods do you prefer for shakey?

Between the SJR722 and CR722 itīs a tough choice which one does the job better, normally I use the spinning model for 1/16-1/8 oz shakey jigs while I use the other for 1/8-1/4 oz, but I also have to say that I use the spinning rig with thinner line 6-8 lb test while the bc is for 10-12 lb test.

Maybe you wonīt find such light shakey head jigs in the market, I pour my own.

actually I use 1/16, 1/8, and 3/32. I use pretty light jigs. I'll have to look into the SJR722, thanks for the info.
