Default NJ piers

Anyone here fish from piers in New Jersey????

A buddy and I are planning to do some fishing in NJ in the next few weeks. Does anyone know the best piers to fish from, or any good beaches to surf cast from?? Any and all tips would be appreciated.

belmar has some nice beaches to fish from, right off the jettys. Avon has done well for me.
as to piers... the northern fishing spots id imagine are better than where i fish at, but Manasquan reservoir is a pretty good one. Turkey Swamp in Freehold is nice as well.
