Default Ashamed to say,

That i havent fished this summer. I was too worried with chelsea, and football to go. But, with no more chelsea, then i've got time to go. So monday, anthony and i are planning to get out early that morning and fish for the day. Were going to the pond i normally fish, but i dont know where to go now, its been so long.
Are there anythings i should be aware of since its cooler, and later in the year?or will my t-rig and drop shot, and early morning popper and buzz baits work?

-Scott

Don't feel like your only one bud....I haven't got to wet a hook this summer either....I was just talkin with my fishin buddy about needing some on the water "theropy" soon....He agreed, so weve both got to get new fishing licenses first since ours expired while we delt with all the tornado aftermath....but he's on vacation next week and said he was cleanin out the boat so hopefully were goin fishin soon too.

On a good note, I was talking to a nice youngman that my daughter likes, and he tells me "Oh, I caught a 10lb bass while pond fishing the other day"......I'm like "yeah right"...."No, seriously" he says.."this ponds always caughin up 8-9 or 10lb'rs"......Soooooo, my next fishin trip might be to this secret pond if I can sway this boy to take me to this magic honey hole....lol...You want to keep seein my daughter?....you gotta take me fishin....hahhaha.....I'll keep ya posted.

I've only been out about ten times this year, its been a weird summer.
I plan to fish a week in fla after the patoka trip, hope the bite is on. And going red fishing in Oct along with bass fishing, so that should be exciting . On the other side of the coin, I did manage to get alot of the house trim painted and had a great garden year putting up beans, maters and squash.

You don't have to be aware of anything. Just go out there spend the day with your buddy and have a good time. If you catch fish, good if you don't still good. Forget the world even exist, there is nothing but you, Anthony and the pond. Relax and enjoy the day.

they have been fairly tough, but not much tougher than usual. should pick up in the next month...for a few days then we will be complaining that it is tough because of the cold. lol

All it takes is One BoYoBoyle. We have some hawgs in South Carolina. You will hardly see 13lbers but you see quite a few 9 to 10lb fish caught.

never fished prestwood. i've been by it plenty of times, i go to hartsville pretty regularlly. And yeah wesley that sounds like a good idea too. i've never fished it. but i'm getting my jonboat welded up this week or next, and lookin at another truck. wahoo! since chelseas new myspace status is blah blah blah fall in a hole , maybe mine should be blah blah blah, come with wesley and i and we'll drop you in a lake...with a cinder block

cant say that we didnt give her a chance. i passed my boy scout life saving test at 14 years old. we had to swim off the bottom of the lake with a cinder block..
