Default what sized split rings for wacky rigging?

yeah what the topic name says what size split rings for wacky rigging? a tiki stick or senko?

i don't use split rings but rubber o-rings . be aware that senko's are all differant .be they 3" to 7" all are differant thickness hince the need for a differant sized ring. i am not sure about tiki sticks as i don't use them .

yeah the 5 inch tiki sticks and the 5 inch senkos look almst identical in width to me i've not been able to notice a difference.

what size o rings do you use?

Take a couple of your senko type lures along with you to the hardware or Home Depot....check out the correct sizes there.

ive never used split rings or o rings. what r they for, obviously for wacky rigging i think but how would u use them thanks

Picture a newspaper rolled up, with a rubber band around the middle keeping it rolled up. Now the paper is the Senko/Tiki/Knockoff, the rubber band is the O-ring. You put your hook in between the O-ring and the Senko, without digging into the senko. It keeps from tearing up the Senko's and when a fish is on the Bait will usually ride up the line, on the O-ring. Now the split rings are the same except they are steel.
