To paint or not to paint, that is the questiion
So I had a few inherited gouges in the bottom of the hull. Nothing serious, just some minor ugly divot like spots. I could have just ignored these, but I'm thinking you'll understand that they had to be fixed.
So I have just fixed with Marine Tex compound and sanded smooth. It's on the very bottom of the hull (so no one would ever know unless they crawl under the boat) and now I'm wondering if I should paint it? I'm questioning partly because on the trailer, I can't really paint the entire bottom, don't know how just spot painting the repaired areas will look, don't know if I really need to, etc....? Edit: boat does not sit in water - like most of yours, I trailer to the launch and when we're not out fishing, she sits on the trailer in the yard. Thoughts?
