Default Boat Rebuilding

As some of you know I work on boats motors etc. In the past year I have been doing a facelft on a 16ft Laser V-Hull that started life as a 624lb hull rated for a 115hp that has been GPS'd at 73 mph. Well I am nearing the end of the facelift and while doing so have lost approx 175lbs and also obtained a coast guard rating plate for 150hp. Do the math. With the present program I have that after I punch in all the variables I will be able to push her into the 90's. Ok here's the question.......Cant make up my mind what color to paint the water missle. I did already find a deal on top quality carpet and couldnt pass it up so the color of the carpet will be tan. Ok folks put your thinking caps on and give me some ideas.

Guess I shoulda also included the graphics I have for the boat will all be in silver metallic. Blue would be good but its funny what I had in mind was the old Purple People Eater color that they used to paint the muscle cars made by plymouth. I personally know and have a friend that works for the House of Colors in Texas that can mix ANY color. A bit pricey but the paint manufactuer that he uses is THE BEST. At $435 for a gallon it better be huh.LOL

Black, along with the silver and tan, would be just awesome IMO.

Hmmm Lizards you might be onto something. Black with enough metalflake to to really make her shine,The silver Laser logo's with the custom pinstriping I designed myself and a big ole black bi@@@ hanging on the back. I LIKE THIS PICTURE.

Ehhhhhh....with a boat that fast, it should definitely have flames of some sort, perhaps midnight blue with white flames.

K-Driz

Wait till I post some pics of the graphics I designed. Original...can gurantee never done before. Did hours and hours of research before finalizing the graphics.

ZOOK not a bad idea but what do you think the flames in orange and red would look like on the burnt orange color. Think they would show up and tun some heads????

I remeber that color now zook. Ipainted a ranchero the exact same color. Inly thing I remember is that it was a late 70's ranchero. Now looking at your truck I can visualize the boat and you know I like. The tan carpet and seat would go great with that and the graphics in the silver metallic would be a very good match. The best thing is I havent seen a boat that I can remember that is in that color.Hmmmmm we may have a winner here.
