Discontinued lures
I was surfing the web and came across a site that only sells discontinued lures (I am still trying to finish my "project" of writing the manufacturers' listed diving depth on the bottom of each of my crankbaits). So I thought I would ask, what is your favorite discontinued lure(s)?

Cotton Cordell minnow spots. They worked to well to be discontinued and I still continue to use the ones I have left. Ivan

Deep Wee R in the old color patterns (firetiger). I picked up 5 or 6 after they discontinued them but lost a good one two years ago. Still hurts today. That bait won me $500 in a Top 150 years ago.

Bama, yeah, I have lost track of time "investigating" the many lures on that site. I think I might make some bids during the winter. The Mann's Razorbacks are lookin' good.

Note: You need to buy the Whiz Bang lure combo pack. The 41 page booklet is a pain in the butt. Its to much material to remember from memory and to valuable to use in wet weather. Buying individual lures doesn't get you the information book. Ivan

As Rebbasser has heard me rant; The moment I so much as whisper that I really like a certain lure (color, size, whatever,) or purchase same more than once, a PA at the factory announces "Cease production! Destroy all molds and existing stock! Lancer likes 'em!" At the tackle emporium..."All staff muster to seek out and destroy all Miracle Wonder Fantastic Worms in 6.3 inch Hyena Vomit/Red Flake! Lancer likes 'em!"
True! I swear. L6 |

I know that norman lures will make make their crankbaits in any color that they have offered even if it is discontinued. My favorite is Moss Back and you cant find it to many places but they will paint them up for you if you call in.
