Pickwick or Dale Hollow?

Well my family decided that we were going on vacation to kentucky/ tennessee area and i maybe thought hopefully that i might be able to get away for a day with my dad and hit one of these lakes. But a few problems occured to me...
1. we would be flying
2. im from the west and would love to find a good guide to teach me how to fish differently.


I leave on saturday ( kind of quick i know) and should be around for the following week my question is witch lake is better? (Id really like to catch a 5lb smallie even know i know ittle be hard in the summer) and what guides would you guys reccomend? Im sooo excited and really hope this works out.
