Couple more golf course bass
I caught these 2 on Sat. morning. Only fished a couple hours. First one was caught on a Mann's baby -1 crank and weighed 5.6 lbs. The second was caught on a Brushhog and weighed 5.3 lbs. I was by myself taking the pics so I did the best I could. I also caught a 3 lber on the crank too. The crank was chartruse with a red/black back. The brushhog was Bamabug color, t-rigged with a 1/8 oz. weight on 17 lb XPS Fluorocarbon line. I needed that line because that fish wrapped me in a brush pile and I was lucky to get it out without breaking it off.

Great job! Which begs the question. Why would anyone go to that course and actually play golf?

Thanks guys! The sad thing about that place is later this summer they are going to fill in the ponds and do a bunch of work for wetlands credits there. There are 8 different ponds on the course and I would guess they would total around 40 acres. We are going to start keeping some of the bigger fish and transport them to my dad's pond as well as some other ponds we have permission to fish. It's really a shame because these ponds are so awesome to fish and they a full of big fish. Guess we'll enjoy it as long as we can!
