Default I'm convinced PNJ is right about gripper teeth

Well my thumb is really bloody, seriously it's bleeding right now. I went out again today and caught around 12ea LM. All of them had sharp teeth, not to mention the smallest one was about 2.5lbs, and biggest was around 7lbs But everyone of these fish today had real sharp teeth, as have most everyone I have caught down in FL. They mainly feed on the shiners/baifish so I am totally convinced you're a Genius PNJ. That was a terrific insight, and I have pretty much been using all baitfish imatations to catch the fish. Occasionaly I'll catch one on a craw, but most all of them are looking for shad. Oh yeah, the fish are definately fat, spawn isn't far away.

Lizards,
How did you find a place to fish once you moved down there? It sure sounds better than Tanner Creek rofl

pnj's theory seems to be right down here in my ponds. last time i went they had red on there top lips.i was catching them on worms.wonder if they were bottom feeding? just a little something to think about and test in differant places.

Lizzy,Thank You for the kind words, but I should not be printed in the same paragraph with the word genius, let alone be labeled as one. I am not sure I even spelled genius correctly for that matter. I am glad to be helpful. This site has been a tremendous help for me in learning to use new lures and techniques to catch fish. P N J

I wont say genius, but I tend to agree. Good day of fishing and my thumbs usually a few layers short from when I first started. They sure do love them shiners down here.

PnJ is just being his normal humble self. The gripper teeth thing was likely insipired by the divine, its so genius I didn't realize mortal man was capable of such....but maybe there is one man, a humble man, from Bath NY that is capable of such transcendent greatness...ALL HAIL IVAN THE GENIUS!

I don't know yet.. see my post from the other day.. these bass were probably deffinately feeding on small baitfish around the docks and stuff cause they slammed my dropshot worms and were right off a dock loaded with baitfish... their teeth were not that sharp... I am not absoulutely convinced yet but have had situations in the past...
