Default tackle kits from cabelas

cabelas has 2 tackle kits out they have one for denny brauer and kevin van dam. the brauer kit has 4 spinners, 5 crankbaits, 2 pro model jigs, 2 bags flippin tubes, trailersfor jigs, 14 lb test line, 4 buzz baits. 1 pack 3/0 and 4/0 mustad ultra point hooks. 1 bag assorted bullet wieghts. The Van Dam kit has 6 bags wild thangs tube,3 bags tube lizards, 3 bags pro model van dam tubes, 4 crankbaits, 1 pack 3/0 and 4/0 mustad ultra points. brauer kit retails for 20.00$ and VanDams is 14.00$. i picked up one of each kit about 2-3 weeks ago. Very good stuff in them. All the lures are from Strike King. I think it is a good buy for people who dont have alot of tackle like me go to www.cabelas.com and go to fishing and look at all the kits. Good fishing all

I've looked at both of those kits in cabelas catalog and have been very tempted to get them. I agree that if your a little strapped for cash it's a good way to get a good quality/quantity of lures to try. Hope you enjoying them.

POWERBASS,

It's a good way to get started on your way to thousands of dollars on tackle and gear. It will give you a variety of lures to start. You could buy either the KVD kit or the DB kit first and buy the other one later to get a better variety. I guarantee you will be adding to these kits as you go.
