I use them on a fluke set up to prevent line twist, but other than a C-rig i have no use for them.

I use a swivel anytime I attach a leader. Of course I don't use leaders over 3'-4' max when fishing. It allows you to get a good knot on both sides, and I'm with you, I don't want to spend 45 minutes tying on a piece of line. I actually did take the time one night to tie them together properly(after several failed attempts). Then the knot would catch in the eyes of the rod anytime I would cast. Since I use braid all the time, and leaders very rarely, I use the swivels. Less chance of a poor knot, or slipping.

Bass Pro Shops XPS Flourocarbon is the best by far. It's the strongest of them all and you don't get any resin residue all over your hands as you would if you used Seaguar. There was some research done on this (I'm trying to find it because I looked at it around 3 months ago) and it proved that the BPS flouro was the best in just about every category for flouro lines. I've pulled 10lb BPS flouro through everything. Vanish sucks by the way.

Does the BPS Flouro twist or curl up? That was my complaint with P-line. I only bought one spool this year and the line looked like a strethed out slinky. From that point on I only used it as a leader.
