What would you do if the following windy conditions presented themselves?

Your options suck.Lmao....I would find a marina and flip around the boat slips all day.I know it sucks doing that too, but they hold fish and you anit got to spend more time tending to the trolling motor than you will fishing. At least you made it out of the yard, I got stuck trying to pull my boat out of a wet yard.Damned narrow boat wheels sank to the axle allowing enough pull to get the damned car stuck.a hour of raising the car and putting wooden planks under the tires of the car and boat to get it out on solid ground, I said F- it. I anit going to fight the damned wind all day while trying to fish.I went and got a milkshake and had a flat tire . Today anit been my day. If I could spell that big word Rebbasser used , I might of . P N J

I like three strategies, skipping tiki stiks/senkos under docks, working a popper much faster than I normally would upwind in coves (pop, pull, pop, pull steady reel the whole time vs. pop, pop, rest, pick up slack) And running a crankbait deep to mid depth across what I call ambush points. What I mean by ambush point is an area where water is moving across and into a protected area and bass are laying up waiting to hit baitfish.

Instead of coves, I put in at rivers or in creeks and go up them, using the tighter lay of the land to help alleviate the wind problem. Then I normally float with the wind and trolling motor to just guide my direction.

I B***H all day long about it, but keep fishing anyway, sooner or later there is a 90 second gap between gusts, and I make every second count.
Then I B***H some more as the wind picks back up. B***H, B***H, B***H, that's how I deal with it. And work that trolling motor constantly. BOOYAH |

I personally think wind can be a disadvantage in the spring and fall, but in the summer I like a wind. Puts some chop on the water, puts added O2 in the water, shakes larvae and other water insects loose turning on the food chain. A constant wind will localize the zooplankton on the lake. In the spring when the fish are in the mood for love, however, nothing puts a damper on the bump and grind like wind blowing into a cove. For this time of year, I would go protected and with a subtle approach. Stow the trolling motor and drift with the wind to coverwater.
I like the idea of finding some protected docks and pitching/flipping/skipping those. I like the idea of heading up a tributary or river where wind isn't as much of an element. On the clear lakes of Wisconsin, I just push off the banks to the sharpest breaklines as fish will retreat easily to more suitable conditions while expending the least amount of energy. I like these polls!

If the wind is blowing in ALL directions, wouldn't they cancel out and turn into a calm day? Maybe I wrong, but a 25MPH north wind plus and 25MPH south wind = 0 wind??????

Drop shoting on a bobber! works great set your depth and your in business partner. lets you get in real close to action. start up wind and float it into what your fishing at.

Hmmmmmm.....lemme see here 25 mph winds in every direction ok got that. Now where or in which direction do ya duck when throwing or attempting to throw a 1/2 oz spinnerbait. I say dont worry just do it.

I agree with Zook ref. JB. Try throwing side arm, that way you can keep your backlashes down. I also would go to any point, rip rap, brush, anything that you think might hold fish. Don't worry about the wind, just stay on the trolling motor as much as necc. Have several different spots in mind.
