Default Classic Questions

This might be kind of late but how many people at any will use a smaller baot with a jet propulsion system in the classic. Many people were debating it and i now know that Byron Velvick aint gonna use it b/c its too slow and he aint fishin the back water areas.

Also how much do you think boat traffic will affect the fish and the fishermen? Many pros have already been complaining about the baot traffic.

My answers is at least 1 guy will use a smaller boat and i bet at least one person will change or flip flop (yes they can do this).

Also i bet boat traffic will play a huge role. I mean it will affect who wins and who doesnt. Traffic will shut down the fishing for some big names if the fans can follow them. ( a lot of those guys motors are specially tunes at the factory and pump out a couple more mph's)

Clunn and Kennedy are using aluminum boats. Clunn's has a jet motor on it he said. Not sure who else is.

You gotta wonder if the "I'm not using this.." or "I'm using that..." is just to throw people off. I mean if they know a guy is fishing out of an alluminum boat, then you can pretty well guess that he has found backwater fish. If it were me, i'd play those mind games.

No doubt. I heard a story one time from a guy who was watching KVD in a tourney. KVD had a bunch of rods on deck at the launch, with lures tied on. As soon as he got out to where he wanted to start fishing, he cut them all off and tied on something completely different.

yeah they might be playing mind games but i think also the an advantage might be that you can switch on any day.... so some guys might try to knock them out the first day way in the backwaters but if they dont get the fish they are looking for they will change over boats so the next day so they can run around.... Or they may be so far ahead they will jump in the bass rig for safety precations (i doubt that one though)

Also i wonder how much the locks will affect the tournament. I heard that some guys are killing them but are scared about getting stuck in the other pools. I hope nothin happens like what happened to Rick Clunn and a lot of other people some time ago.

I would fish a tin boat in a heartbeat if I found a big fish bite..

Look at Rowland many years ago with the ladder on the boat..

You go tin you commit to a skinny water style... commit..

It is a good gamble if you ask me..
