get ready to write a lot down bub. cause there are gonna be alot of answers. and it will start with "what are the waters, conditons, temps,etc,etc....." list all of those and you will recieve the answers. there are a few different ways to rig worms and lizards. i like the tx rig. there is a photo on here of these different setups. and i usually fish it on the bottom....slowly dragging it across and "twitching it" a few times if the water is warm (80 degress and up), and did i say SLOWLY? very slowly. where i am the water temp is already in the high 80's. so i am gonna go deeper now. was fishing the "gator vines" where the depht is only 2 ft i most places. and only when there are cloud cover, or overcast skies. other wise i would fish the laydowns and stumps and other cover. now i'll let others give their perferences. cause their's is usually better than mine. for real. listen and write each and every thing bob smith tells ya bro. DA MAN KNOWS FISHIN!!!

the lizard i usually t-rig and like bama said fish it slow , if you need to know the rigs there are pictures at the top of the new to fishing category , think how a salamander moves in the water , it's never a open sprint , retrieve the bait a little and then hop it off the bottom
and let it float back down and sit for a sec and then twitch it , repeat-repeat-repeat until you get the fish , the same also works for worms imo.

I think we're gonna need more details on the conditions. Plastics are very versatile and there are tons of ways to fish them all. Give us a little more info. Sounds like maybe you've heard those are the hot lures that everyone is catching them on where you fish. Lets us know what the water is like where everyone is catching them and I'm sure we can get you catching them too.
