Default What do yall think of Rick Clunn's ETI Orion crank

Saw an ad for it while thumbing through the Bass Pro Shops catalog. Mentioned how its designed for improved hydrodynamic imaging. Just curious if yall have had any luck with these in the past. Ordered 3 tonight, along with a lot of other junk.....errrr lures.

I was wondering about those as well. Seems like a pretty good deal. Let us know how they work out.

I don't mind volunteering if yall don't mind waiting, with all the lures I've bought over the last few months, its gonna take forever to try them all out just to have an idea of which catch fish. I feel i picked some pretty good lures, testing will be the only thing to prove that though. I'm stoked about this crankbait, shoestrings mo better buzzbait, the really long booyah buzzbait, the tornado spinnerbait, and the bass pro shops XPS blood series squirmin worms and xps twin tail shads, both have a top half regular body, the bottom half is a metalic blood red. The half of the worm that is blood red is also ribbed. I know some of yall ain't been sold on blood red lures, but I've caught enough fish on red lures and blood trails that I know they don't hurt anything. There's a number of other items I got that I feel will produce fish, these are just the ones that will be my confidence baits before I even tie them on the line.

Yep, and I don't know what I'm more addicted to, catching the fish, or all the aggrivating things happening in between catching those fish, snags, damaged gear in the middle of a trip, injuries, boat maintenance, transportation, etc.

I have about 2 dozen of the Clunn crankbaits. I used them last fall and they are the best thing since sliced bread. ;D I don't know what it is about them, but they will catch fish, may not always be what your after, but they will catch them just the same. ;D P N J

PNJ, the ones you're refering to were they the same ones with the big ridges along the body? If so, thats great to hear. They look pretty darn good if ya ask me. I'd wanna eat one if I were a bass.

Rodman Rob, They are the one and the same. The color dirty money has produced the most fish for me, but probably because I fished it more than the other colors. JB, I fish a Daiwa VIP classic fiberglass rod . P N J

Thanks man, I ended up getting the roboshad, kind of a purplish/pink wonded bruised flesh type color and one other color, can't remember, think it was the white crystal looking color (can't remember name).

Rob, I have used those colors and the other one your referring to is called gunsmoke shad. I originally bought 2 of them to have Rick Clunn sign, which he did at the grand opening of the bass pro shop here. I took one out of the package and fished it one afternoon, caught 6 fish in 2 hours,I since then caught them on sale here ofr $1.99 each and bought 2 dozen of them in case they didn't make them any more.
