Default Look at this

Was in Gander Mt. sunday and saw these new buzzbaits/plug on the rack. Had to pick one up to try this year. Looks like it just might work.

Seriously? I've had an idea for making at bait like that. I think I may even have a thread in here about the idea. And again, someone beat me to the punch! haha If I find one in our GM, I think I'll buy one to try it out.

I wonder..............
Length?
Weight?
Who's going to be the 1st to say something about buttplugs or nutsacks? not me

The approaching spring makes me delightfully singleminded.

Bama, Gander had about 5 different colors. Ken the butt, er buzzplug is about 2-1/4 inches long not counting the hook. My guess it weighs maybe 1/2 oz to 3/4 oz. There are no markings on the pack as to weight or size.

See details about them here on BPS site.

The lure is 2 7/8" long and weighs 1 oz. Or at least the ones on the BPS site are.

Thank you. I thought there were more than three colors hanging on the rack but black was on the top row and I didn't look at the other colors. They had about 5 or 6 pegs hanging straight down. I was close on the length but a little off on the weight.
I like how you can pause the lure during the retrieve. I can't wait to try it in the lily pads. Or drag it over logs, etc.

According to this article there are 8 color patterns, so maybe they had more at Gander where you were vs. the BPS online link I gave above. That's the only place I can currently find selling them online.

It looks like a pretty good bait. The upturned hooks make it weedless, and I like the fact you can stop/start it and it floats. Don't know that I would fish it very much, but I do like the design.
