Default opinion of berkley series one rods

I saw the berkley series one 7' mh rod in wallmart the other day and I liked the feel.Can anyoneelse give me some input.I usually fish diff. basspro rods.What do you think?

that extra 6 inches makes a dif.
takes awhile to get used to the longer length , at least it did for me.
I imagine that rod will do the job for ya

Mike, I have fished the series one rods for years, Iw have a 7' medium casting & 2 6'6" mh pistol grips and 2 6'6" MH spinning rods.The only better berkley rod was the Pulse rods, they sold 1 year in 1997 for $99.99 a rod so no one bought too many of them. I was lucky to get 4 of them and will have them the rest of my life.The Gary Roach walleye signature series that are 70 million modulus are the same as the old Pulse rods, just a bigger price tag ,but not by much.
