Default White 4" Grub

Wow, I went out tonight, and caught about 5 bass per hour. Funny thing is, the water is murky and they werent biting on natural colors. As soon as I put on a white power grub, I couldnt keep them off. Isnt that a little backwards?

chartruse n white, maybe I can get a bass to hit the white side lmao
I wonder if your grub matched the hatch for the size bait fish in your waters ..just a thought.....

Sounds like a great day. Just goes to show you conventional wisdom isn't always right ;D. On the flip side it does make sense due to the conditions. In real stained or muddy water the fish get real pale, so that grub probably looked natural to them. Anyway, you did the right thing-natural colors weren't working so you found what did work. Good job!

I got my order in from Tackle wharehouse. I cant wait to hit the water tonight with these brush hogs. I was thinking of using my weedless eagle claw hooks, any better ideas?
