Default Late June 2nd Report

We sat under the pavilion and waited for the deluge to subside, thinking about going home and getting ready to watch the Caps game and rescheduling for catfish in October. At 4:20 the rain slowed and we decided to launch. We got clear skies and you never would have known it rained at all. (well, maybe the muddy water) We started with a spinnerbait and picked up 6 nice bass. The crew wanted to throw toads so we did, no love...at first. While contemplating exactly why the fish weren't eating the toad when, BAM! first toad fish and another half dozen big bass. The radar told us we had better leave. Showers for the ride to the ramp then, another downpour enused, with me in the truck heading home.
