Default Best all around lure!!!

I have found myself fishing this lure almost exclusively this year! I have only two rods on the deck, one with the bait weightless and one weighted rigged texas style! It can be fished anywhere in the water column. Fish it like a frog, like a buzzbait, like a spinnerbait! like a jig or a swimjig!

What is it?

It's the Creature X by Verticle Lures. I get them from Tackle warehouse!

I agree, probably should have titled it differently, Lets say:

a plastic that can be used in many ways!!

I used to fish a Brush hawg a lot, but these have all but replaced them. Those front legs swim like a mad man on very little movement and create quite a commotion on the top when buzzed! Plus, they are just a little bit shorter than a Brush Hawg!

I have thrown then and agree that they are quite versatile. I prefer the Yamamoto Kreature myself. I like them because you can rig them facing foward or backwards to change presentation.

Ya, It would probably make a great buzz frog! I'll try it out some time!

A 6" plastic worm, Texas rigged with a 1/8 OZ bullet weight is my favorite all-around bait.

Second would be a PB & J colored 1/2 OZ jig.
