Default My new favorite Line

Well,
after hearing Lone_Archer tell everyone about Trilene XT, I decied to pick some up. I got the 6lb and 8lb test. 6lb worked flawlessly tonite! I havent spooled the 8 lb test on my worm rod yet, but will do it in a couple minutes. Thanks Lone!!!! I highly recommend it to anyone Also!

Ive tried it, its good. My go to monos are xt xl and p-line. 8lb test on your worming rod? I use at least 14lb test on my worming baitcaster. Sometimes I go to 8lb test on my spinning reels for split shotting and finnese stuff when the fish are lockjawed, but thats the lowest I go.

WHEN I use mono, which is very, very seldom, Trilene is ALL I will use. I still say that it doesnt do anything that PowerPro does'nt do better.

Thats still pretty light. Personal preferance I guess. I have tons of fallen branhces and lillies in the ponds I fish.

The main pond I fish has no structure or visible structure I should say. So it works for me.

Anybody like Trilene Biggame thats all I have used so far and I like it I use 10lb. test because I only have one decent rod and real and figured thats a pretty good all around test! But then again there is a ton of structure in the pond i fish! (Floridian Run of pond) Anything and everything grows and lives in there including gators (yummy)

NJBassDevil uses it. I would up your line size being down in floridia, I would use 14lb

Depends on the lake though I live in florida most will have lots of weeds, but some have very little. I use 14lb test for worm, 10-12 lb test for cranks.
