On your handle behind the star drag system you'll see a nut on there, it may look like a regular nut or some variation, but you back that off and your drag star will come off and the hand will to, to get the side plate off you'll probably have to take off the line drop adjuster, If you have a manual it will show you what you need, If its got a internal brake system on it, thats on the other side of the reel..

Bass Maniac, To remove the handle, you must tighten the star drag down tight until the star will push inward. While holding the star drag in the inward position, just turn the handle backwards and it will come off.Its a pretty neat idea, I hope this helps.P N J

I Apreciate Your Answers, I Have Tried To Do That, I Thigten The Drag As Much Asi I Can But It Dont Seems To Move Inward, Even Pulling It Against The Body Of The Reel I Cant Make It Move, And I Am Afraid To Push To Hard The Handle In The Opossite Direction, I Dont Want To Cause Any Damage To The Reel

BassManiac, The problem you are having might be that you have tightened the drag too much., Try backing the drag off a little bit at a time until the star knob pushes inward.I overtightened a drag on my Johnny Morris reel before so I know it can be done.if the drag is as tight as you can get it , you have most likely gone beyond the point that allows it to push inward.
