Pitchin' a creature bait or some type of plastic is my #1. #2 Had a lot of fun with topwater (buzzbait and toad) this past year. #3 is shallow running crankbait, RC's are real nice.

I had a lot of fun this summer with a Heddon Zara Spook in chrome/black and a Booyah 3/8oz black buzz bait.

Welcome Knot.
My favorite bait changed with each season, just like which reservoir I fished.
Ice Out: 1/2 oz Blue/Black jig and a Jerkbait
Pre-Spawn: 4 inch tx rigged tubes in any greenish color to black neon
Spawn: 4 & 5 inch weightless stickbaits in Green Pumpkin or Watermelon with Black flake, and a 4 inch tube in pearl or green Pumpkin
Summer:Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, weighted plastics, 1/2 oz jigs
Fall:Spinnerbaits, Crankbaits, weighted plastics, 1/2 oz jigs.

those are two of my favorite topwater baits. i am becoming a bigger fan of the super spook though because i really believe the rattles help a lot in the muddy waters of grand lake.

welcome knot. this is the best site for bass fishing on the web pal. as for my favorite lure or bait..... well, it USED to be the 6" zoom lizard in punkin seed with a chartruse tail, faded a little. NOW........hard to say, there are so many that i am wanting to try now. i have got some AWESUM jigs i am DYING to use. and then there is the ol rattle trap, chrome with a blue back that has done a very nice job for us. and i also throw a white spinner alot too. so i truly can't say i have a favorite lure. there are so many i like and want to try...................

I've got three that I use the most, probably 85% of the time with either a drop shot, shaky head, or a jerkbait. After that it is a stick worm about 8%, topwater 3%, and jigs and cranks the last 4%.

Welcome to the forum. My go to lure would have to be a 1/4 oz. war eagle spinnerbait in white/char./blue with a #3.5 gold XPS willow blade or a #4 XPS gold indiana blade. Its a killer lure in the waters i fish, and it seems to produce all year long for me.

Cavitron Buzzbait has accounted for more bass over 6 lbs this year as well as numbers.Second the EvoII Jig then the senko. Y a have to have confidence in the baits you throw. Ya know the fish are there ya just have to figure out how to catch them Throw what they want -when they want it. If that dosent work Pi$$ them off- they will hit out of agression.

My go to bait would have to be a Bandit 100 in Bluegill. Caught our biggest fish on it this year, and the most.

S4,

I would love to see a pic of your customized crankbait (the Manns baby T 1- Chart/White Ghost gray/Black back (airbrushed) clear coated with G-Fleck Green/blue finish). C'mon . . . give me some crankbait porn . . .

Bandit crankbaits, T-rigged Zoom u-tail worms, and flukes. I feel like I could catch bass in my toilet with these baits.
