Are they as good as flukes?

just as good, but they float so you should put a 1/16oz weight on it unless you want it on the surface

Which tells me it's a different technique Not the same, can't compare apples to oranges. Now that I said that, they are very durable 8) They won't sink by themselves, so it's almost like a topwater. They can stick to stuff, so a lot of scent helps to keep it from being so sticky. I do like the 3X baits, just diferent from your standard plastics. If you do like them, then also try the Snapback brand, they are about identical.

they also make a salt impregnated lure that sinks as well they dont sink as quick as a fluke but if u use a nail in them they work awsome and they last a very long time unlike the flukes. the salt impregnated lures come in a little diffrent package. the floatin lures have red writing on the packs the salted ones have purple writing. on the packs.
