Default Caught a goodun today!

Went fishin with one of my buds today. Showing him the ropes and such, he'd just got a new baitcaster (silver max combo), and we'd been meaning to get out on the water for a while now, and now was better than ever with his new rig and such. Thank God I found some area's open year round where I can fish, otherwise I'd go crazy! lol

He didn't catch anything but, said he learned allot, and he's pretty good with a baitcaster too for today being his first day using one!

Started the day with my little bro and didn't catch anything but a little one he caught.

Ran home and grabbed some lunch, watched a little bit of the Brew Crew, and went back out after an hour or so, just me and him.

Started with a 5" wacky rig senko by a weedline right next to deep water, caught dink, but not long after caught a goodun! Sceered the crap outa me when it jumped! lol

6.03lbs 20"

Fished for another hour didn't get a thing, wind picked up and though we could get a couple on a lipless crank... guess not though!

Awesome pig, Sammy!

However, the color of that fish begs the question...

was the water light or dark?

I think you mean was it "light paper bag brown" water or "dark paper bag brown" water?
