Welcome to the forum!

Any soft plastic will work-I usually throw a lizard or a creature bait like a Zoom Brush Hog, but don't limit yourself. You can also use some hard baits like a floating minnow.

Retrieve-vary it abd let the fish tell you gow fast/slow they want it.

Have really worn the bass out on lizards and been worn out while my partner was using finesse type worms. You have to find out for yourself. Thats what I do.
Note: Don't forget senkos, they can be deadly.

A great lure is the zoom watermelonseed colored crawfish. This works great on the carolina rig, especially if you get some lime dye and dye the claws! Works like a charm!

Try this,it's something i have been trying. A senko type bait.I had seen a show with Roland Martin and he was doing pretty good with it.So I gave it a shot and it works really well.
