Default thrown from boat

Clark Reehm an elite series fisherman was thrown from his boat during the tournament on SML. If I understand this right his throttle hung and instead hitting a dock he drove up on the bank at 50 mph. He's ok, a nasty little spot on his head and a nasty little streak in his undies.

We all just need to be carefull, if it can happen to them it can happen to us.

when i read the story i got the impression that he didn't hit the bank. as i understand it a spike it marker somehow got wedged under his hot foot and he was unable to slow down. they said he was left with 2 choices, hitting the dock or hitting the bank. as i understood it he tried to make a hard left to avoid hitting either one and somehow he and his marshal both got thrown out. both were ok other than the little cut and knot that was left on rheems face, you are right though..... had to be an oh @*!% moment.

i thought the same thing. but i thought of it a minute or so after reading the article, which makes me think that with everything that was going through his mind at the time he just didn't think of it. he probably asked himself the same thing afterwards.
