I'd have to say my favorite is a 7" Berkely Powerbait Original Scent...favorite colors are Red Shad, and all black. I like slow fishing it with a 1/8 ounce bullet weight. Pop it like 10-15 times..let it sit for about 5 seconds...keep repeating.

And spinnerbait...i try to keep it as slow as possible but there are the days when the fish like it agressive.

The buzzbait and frog are hard to beat, when they are hitting on it, other than that any lure they are whackin' is the "favorite of the day"

My favorite, don't have one, have many..... the top three choices of mine when I first get on the water is:

1. Texas Rigged plastics dragged and bumped along the bottom.
2. Shallow running crank baits with a stop n go retrieve
3. Senko's rigged on the fly (weightless or very little weight)

Lures I will get too eventually: Top Water baits, Rattle traps, spinner baits, and then Med - Deep running cranks, and lastly Jigs.

The Weather, Water Temp/Clarity, Time of Day, Terrain/Structure and how much pressure the fish are or have been under, all have a factor on what I will try first.

Nuttin to it,
