Love how he says take a deep breath....then exhale. That's every cast on these baits for me. 5/0 hook with screw eye keeper. 50# braid.....I also order 15 bags a year via Tacklewarehouse.com. Cheapest price going & free shipping over $50.....Blood pressure pills not included. My big fish bait year round here in the SE. Fav colors are black and black with blue legs. I'll use a white when nobody is watching.

Great toads! These and ribbits are my favorites, I like to use em in the early summer before the grass gets to thick!

I'ved used Ribbits for a long time but the original reason was to get a buzzbait action through waters that had alot of floating vegatation or grass thats to water surface but not protruding.
I now use them for almost anything from carolina rigging to surface to surface and slow sink into pockets. I've even wieghted texas rigged them. Swimgjig trailer works good too if your wanting to stay higher in the water column on a slower retrieve.
Horny Toad....Ribbit, Ford...Chevy, same type of thing.

Horny toad also gets a buzzbait action going with a little less commotion than a paddletail, here on ky lake they prefer toads to ribbets most of the time.
I bought one pack couple years ago use them always with my floater frogs, how is someone gifted me a few pour your owns with paddles and without like the toad, about to run low dang it.

i love the horneys and the rage for single hooks, IMO for the ribbit and the bps Humpin toad, the 2 hook thing works better.
