Default "Mouse Out"

MMIB was having trouble with rodents (mice) chewing up the electrical wiring on his boat while it was stored, causing all kinds of problems (including hiding his fuse box) This brings up a suggestion I would like to pass along:
There is a product on the market called "Mouse Out" that repels mice. It was developed for farmers to use to keep mice out of thier combines and tractors during the winter storage months. IT WORKS GREAT! It is similar to gun grease, and all you need to do is to put a dab on a piece of cardboard and place it in your hatches and battery compartment. Be sure not to get it on you carpet, as it is hard to get out. Around here it is sold ar some of the automotive parts houses and farm implement dealers. It is somewhat expensive (under $20.00) but is cheaper than replacing your wiring!

I used to put them in my antique car in the winter storage and never had a mouse problem. I originally went with moth balls but my car smelled like them for a few months.
