I managed to find a couple of nice smallies in that second arm that you are referring to. Both fish were caught near the mouth of this hollow, both on opposite banks.

A possible float and fly spot, Woodrow?

Oh Definitely... although this time I think we should start towards the back of the hollow in search of baitfish. All of the warm freshwater runoff that the lake is receiving now should pull the baitfish to backs of those creeks. With your side imaging we should be able to find the bait balls.

I appreciate the offers to let me stay in the different respective cabins but I was back in UK Hospital Saturday and underwent life threatening emergency surgery. Spent 6 hours on the operating table to repair an impacted bulging hernia that was on the verge of rupturing. 2-3 months before I can lift more than 10lbs and up to 6 months to cometely heal barring any complications. So no fishing for me the first half of 2013, but that's life, win some lose most

Elwood, I'm really sorry to hear about that. I'll definitely be praying for your quick recovery and for your family too. Take care partner!

That's a goodun". I don't know how I missed fishing that cut last year, a mistake that won't be repeated.

Woody, depending on how big of a chunk ol' Uncle Sam takes out of our 2013 paychecks...are you interested in another FNF trip to Dale in February?

That is if we can get decent weather...high 30's maybe 40's. I've been asking some questions, and I think I can make it work for us this time. We should have been out in the middle of those creek arms...remember those bait balls?!?! DOH!!!

This time, I have plenty of available time off (not sure what your situation is) so there wouldn't be a big rush. (And the boat is already prepped! )

Come on, if you fish in 20 degree weather, you should be committed...

BA DUM BUM...

Just think about it...I'm always game. Looking at a nice pair of insulated boots right now. No more cold toes.

Better yet - who has a cabin RESERVED? I've got mine, I know Mark & Donald are covered. All attendees are invited to my cabin one evening for some apple pie... Aged apple pie, someone can bring some cheese...

I'm a big "maybe" on this one, Mark. I'd love to come, and I'm definitely going to try, but it's very much iffy right now....

FYI.. There is still one pull-out couch in cabin #0 which I'm sharing with Ron, Adam and Bryce, that's still available.

I believe Don still has a spare bedroom available in his cabin (#10).

but this is ONLY IF I GET THIS JOB AND I AM OFF THAT WEEK. OK?

That's a lot of IF's brother. But I sure hope that works out for you, that would be GREAT. I'm sure we'd find a spot for you, even if I have to upgrade my cabin...

I know I'm not making this trip, and I would like to win the Big Bass contest but...I think it would be AWSOME if someone at this years Zookerfest caught the biggest bass, and wouldn't it be cool if "Dinkmaster" took the prize!
